Mason City High School in Iowa, home of the Riverhawks, boasts a proud and storied athletics tradition with state championships across numerous sports including baseball, basketball, football, swimming, track & field, wrestling, volleyball, cheerleading, and dance. Formerly known as the Mohawks, the school adopted the Riverhawks mascot in 2022 and now competes in the Iowa Alliance Conference. MCHS has earned widespread recognition through its Athletic Hall of Fame and the Jack Flaherty Award, honoring individuals who contribute significantly to its programs.
