The International Summit brings participants from around the globe to share and learn through workshops, seminars, classroom visits, and cultural presentations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop cultural awareness in the field of education with an emphasis on world languages and information technology, increase knowledge about diverse cultures, and establish lasting ties between schools in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. Last summit had participants from Australia, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, and Zimbabwe. This event promotes the building of individual relationships that will continue well beyond the summit conclusion. Visiting educators will have opportunities to collaborate with PBHS faculty members. A variety of cultural activities will be available; e.g. visiting a local university, attending sporting events, riding in an airboat to view alligators, shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall, observing a beautiful South Florida beach sunrise.
